What is near the restaurant?
This corner of Fulham is one of the greener parts of the area. Fulham Palace, the historic former home of the Bishops of London, and Bishop's Park along the Thames are both nearby. A riverside walk before a weekend lunch or after an early dinner is a lovely way to bookend the meal. For couples, our post on a romantic dinner in Fulham builds an evening around exactly that.
What should you order at an Indian restaurant near Putney Bridge?
That depends on how much time and appetite you have. Our full à la carte menu runs every service, so here is a short list for a first visit.
Starters
Patra Chaat (£11) is a dish both The Infatuation and The Resident singled out: colocasia leaves with yoghurt, date and tamarind chutney, pomegranate, onion, tomato and sev. Andhra Shrimps (£11) bring heat and fennel, while Methi Malai Chicken Tikka (£12) from the tandoor is gentle and fragrant with cream, fenugreek, cardamom and mace.
Mains
For coastal flavour, the Mangalorean Chicken (£16) with coconut and byadgi chillies, or Chef Shilpa's own Halibut Fish Curry (£23). For something richer, the Homestyle Lamb Curry on the bone (£18) or Venison Lal Maas (£23) with Lincolnshire venison and Jodhpuri chilli. Add Dal Makhani (£11), slow cooked overnight, and a Butter Naan (£3).
The Infatuation described us as "serving the best Indian food in Fulham", singling out several of the dishes above. For a fuller walk-through, see our guide to choosing an Indian restaurant in Fulham.

Can you eat early before a show, match or night out?
Yes. Our early dinner runs every day from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, with your table held for one hour. Two courses are £27 and three are £33, and you choose from starters such as Patra Chaat, Crispy Buttermilk Chicken and Seekh Kebab, then mains like Lamb Sukke, Mangalorean Chicken or Baingan Bharta, served with steamed rice or naan.
One thing to know: the early dinner is not available on match days or during special events, so check before you plan around it. Our post on the tasting menu and early dinner compares both menus in detail.
